Ranchi, June 27 (HS). A meeting of state officials and district presidents was held on Thursday at Congress Bhawan under the chairmanship of State Women Congress Committee President Gunjan Singh. In the meeting, mainly the election results of Lok Sabha Elections-2024 were reviewed and a strategy was made on the action plan for the upcoming assembly elections. Along with this, the strengthening of the organization was discussed in detail.
In the meeting, Gunjan Singh gave instructions to the state officials and district heads and said that the Lok Sabha election results were not as per our expectations. There was a need to do better. Now the assembly elections are very close. You people should work with full dedication in your respective districts and areas to fulfill whatever responsibility has been given to you in the organization.
While giving information about the action plan received in the meeting held in Delhi, the State Women Congress President said that the State Executive Committee meeting will be convened in the coming month of August. Women Congress National President Alka Lamba, Jharkhand State Incharge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and State Congress President Rajesh Thakur will participate in it. A three-day training program will be organized for the Block Women Congress Presidents.
Gunjan said that Nari Nyay Sammelan and Padyatra will be held in all the districts from district level to booth level. The party manifesto has to be taken to the people. Also, health camps will be organized for the health of women. Apart from this, there will be MP siege program on paper leak case and women reservation. Mahila Congress will run special programs on rising inflation, toll tax, fall in Indian rupee, mohalla padyatra and my booth my responsibility.
State General Secretary Pinky Singh, Sangeeta Toppo, Preeti Sahay, Punita Choudhary, Sundari Tirkey, Anita Sinha, Shanti Bala Kerketta, Varsha, Amrita Bhagat, Sita Rana, Ajanta Samad, Divya Minj, Gracie Minj, Neetu Devi, Hemanti Jaiswal, Ruby Khatoon, Namita Ba, Manisha Tirkey, Prabha Tigga and others were present in the meeting.
