The assistant policemen who were protesting in Ranchi's Morhabadi ground since July 2 were going to gherao the Raj Bhawan on Monday but the policemen stopped them by putting up barricades near Morhabadi. The assistant policemen and the district administration remained face to face for a long time. There was a mild argument between the two. After some time, SDO Utkarsh Kumar and City SP Rajkumar Mehta, DSP Prakash Soy talked to the assistant policemen on the spot. The officers explained to all the assistant policemen, only then everyone calmed down. The City SP assured to place their demands before the Home Department.
