First Indian batsman to score a fifty in debut match
Faiz Fazal made his debut in international cricket in the year 2016. He scored 9183 runs in 137 first-class matches. Apart from this, he scored 3641 runs in 113 List-A matches. Faiz, who has played only one ODI for India, is the only Indian batsman to score a half-century in his debut match. Apart from this, he is the third batsman to do so after Australia's Ashley Woodcock and England's Kim Barnett.
