New Delhi: A plane coming from Leipzig, Germany crashed into a two-storey building in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius at 5-30 am today (Monday), injuring two people, one of whom died during treatment in the hospital. Went. Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT gave this information quoting an ’emergency official’.
Lithuanian officials said the plane was a Daichal cargo plane.

Flight-trading-data received by Flight Radar-24 showed that the aircraft first went north of the airport and then moved 1.5 km away while descending for landing. It was 5:30 in the morning (a mile) from the runway and very cold. Two people were seriously injured, one of whom died during treatment, when the plane collided with a two-story building while landing amid overcast skies and 30 mph winds. The aircraft were operated by Madrid-based contractor Swift Air.

The aircraft is of Boeing-737 type and being 31 years old, it has been removed from passenger service and shifted to cargo service.
