Ghaziabad, November 6 (HS). Shalimar Garden police station has arrested the accused in the case of threatening Ghaziabad assembly by-election candidate Ravi Kumar Panchal on mobile phone in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi. The mobile phone used in the incident has been recovered from his possession.
DCP (Trans Hindon) Nimish Dashrath Patil said that Ravi Kumar Panchal, resident of 2nd floor EWS Shubham Dham Apartment Sector 2, Rajendra Nagar Police Station Shalimar Garden Ghaziabad, Police Station Shalimar Garden, was contacted by an unknown person through mobile phone in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi, a gang member. Had made a threat. A case was registered in this regard. In relation to which, by forming teams at Shalimar Garden police station, with the help of informer's information, manual input and surveillance, today the police arrested Deepu resident of village Chak Post Lakhlaur police station Pachdevra district Hardoi. He was arrested near Lohia Park, Rajendra Nagar.

One day I called Ravi Kumar Panchal from my number and Ravi Kumar Panchal disconnected, then I kept watching his video, then one day when I called, Ravi Kumar Panchal abused me and he put my number in the blacklist. So on 31st October, I called Ravi Panchal from the mobile phone of my friend Vineet Pal and threatened him by calling him a member of Lawrence Bishnoi Gag.
