Sadh police station in-charge Inspector Sudhir Kumar said that on Tuesday night, some unknown person damaged the statue of an ancient Mata Kali located outside the temple located in Asenia village of the police station area and ran away. As soon as this information was received, the villagers immediately informed the police. The police team that reached the information, after investigation, registered a case in this regard and started investigation. However, the accused youth Shailendra son of Shri Ram, resident of the same village, was arrested. Legal action was taken against him and he was presented in the court today and sent to jail.
