Bikaner/Kaushambi, 9 November (HS). A three-day Gram Gaurav Utsav and Farmers Fair was organized from 9 to 11 November by Medai Kalyan Seva Trust, Head Office, Devra Patti Narwar, Kaushambi, (Uttar Pradesh).

During the inauguration program, the chief guest, Minister of State for Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry, Independent Charge of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Pratap Singh said that farmers can get good income by adding value to the products obtained from gardens and horticulture. He also talked about promoting agriculture and horticulture in Kaushambi.

Addressing the program as a special guest, Vice Chancellor of Swami Keshavanand Agricultural University, Bikaner, Dr. Arun Kumar said that the path to prosperity and happiness of villages passes through agriculture and animal husbandry. Therefore, by using advanced technologies in both these works, the income of farmers can be greatly increased. He said that in this science fair, two agricultural universities of Rajasthan have demonstrated the latest technologies in the interest of farmers through exhibitions. Farmers can increase their production significantly by using them more and more. During the ceremony, Dr. P.S. Shekhawat, Director of Extension Education, Swami Keshavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner and Dr. Dashrath Prasad, Senior Scientist and Chairman of Agricultural Science Center Pokaran were present and displayed the technology of the university by setting up a stall.
