Nitin Gadkari on Swachh Bharat Mission: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari addressed the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' program organized by Nagpur Municipal Corporation. In which he said how people who eat pan-masala and spit on the road should be treated. Gadkari said, 'Photographs of people spitting on the road should be taken and published in newspapers so that people can see it. People behave well in other countries but in their own country they easily spread garbage on the roads. He stressed on maintaining cleanliness to protect the environment and also talked about staying away from single use plastic.
'People are very clever. Throw away the chocolate wrapper immediately after eating it. However, when he goes abroad, he keeps the lid in his pocket after eating the chocolate. They make good deals abroad. 'Earlier I used to throw chocolate wrappers out of the car. Today when I eat chocolate, I take its wrapper home and throw it in the garbage.
