Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has asked the Election Commission to investigate allegations of AAP leaders threatening MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and MLA Sheetal Angural and offering Rs 25 crore to the MLAs.
Jakhar said the truth about who offered the money and who received the money should come out. He said that the strict honesty of Arvind Kejriwal has been exposed.
Speaking to reporters, Jakhar said that first in the excise scam and then in the guava plantation scam, Punjab's resources were looted openly and no one involved in looting the state would be spared.
Criticizing the abusive language used by AAP leaders after Rinku and Angural joined BJP, Jakhar said that these leaders joining BJP is an expression of confidence in the leadership and command of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the development agenda of BJP. . He said that all the leaders are fed up with AAP's leadership and in the coming days more people will leave AAP. In the presence of Jakhar, Akali Dal (Badal) candidate for 2022 from Bhoa assembly Rakesh Kumar joined BJP along with his supporters.
