Cricket is a game of uncertainties where no one can tell when the match will turn. In this game, batsmen often get out in a strange manner which no one can even imagine. Recently, something similar happened with Somerset batsman Ned Leonard in Wormsley, England. The video of the way he got out is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
The ball hit the batsman and he was caught out.
The viral video shows the T20 final between Somerset and Yorkshire's second XI. Meanwhile, Ben Cliff came to bowl in the 19th over of the innings. He bowled a ball which hit the batsman standing at the non-strike end and the ball went straight into the bowler's hand. Seeing this, not only the batsman but also the bowler was surprised. However, it was a bonus for the bowler that he got the wicket in this way.
This kind of catch out in 2013
This was earlier seen in an international match in 2013, when the late Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds was batting against Sri Lanka. He hit a shot on the ball of Jehan Mubarak, but the ball hit the shoe of Michael Clarke standing at the non-striker end and Dilshan was out.
