‘The next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be Ajit Pawar…’, BJP-Shiv Sena worried over NCP’s poster

Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: Voting took place on 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra on Wednesday (November 20). Counting of votes will take place on Saturday (23 November). Meanwhile, there is a tussle going on among the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) over the post of Chief Minister. In such a situation, amidst the ongoing rumors regarding the post of Chief Minister in Mahayuti, some posters have been put up in Baramati, in which it is written, ‘The next CM of the state will be Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Ajit Pawar.’

This poster has been put up in Baramati at a time when there is political turmoil in the state. There is discussion going on about the possibility of Ajit Pawar becoming the Chief Minister. These posters are indicating that the party and supporters are considering Ajit Pawar as a strong contender for the post of Chief Minister. These posters put up at different places read, ‘Congratulations to Ajit Pawar on being elected MLA for the eighth consecutive time.

Baramati has been a stronghold of NCP. It is from here that Ajit Pawar has reached the assembly after winning. This is being seen as a strategy to put pressure on the Grand Alliance before the results. These banners have been put up in Parvati assembly constituency and Baramati assembly constituency. Ajit Pawar has been the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra four times. He has expressed his desire to become Chief Minister many times from the stage. After parting ways with his uncle Sharad Pawar, BJP Pawar and his workers want the reins of the state to be handed over to them.

Posters of Devendra Fadnavis also put up

Earlier, Devendra Fadnavis’ workers put up banners calling him the future Chief Minister. The enthusiasm of the workers regarding the results of the assembly elections is at its peak. In such a situation, there is a fear that the political atmosphere in the state will heat up regarding the banner of the future Chief Minister.
