Reasi 29 November (His). Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ at Pauni, Reasi and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers and police personnel. He expressed gratitude towards revered Saint Shri Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj for organizing ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ for the last many years to remember with pride the great sacrifice of the soldiers.
The Lieutenant Governor said that the nation will always be indebted to the brave soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for unity, integrity, peace and progress. We have worked sincerely to build the progressive and modern Jammu and Kashmir of their dreams.
The Lieutenant Governor vowed to dismantle the terror ecosystem and called upon every section of the society to discharge their responsibilities and join the fight against terrorism to secure our future. He said that the terrorist ecosystem will be completely neutralized and terrorists will be eliminated from Jammu and Kashmir.
He also spoke on the extraordinary journey of Jammu and Kashmir towards development and prosperity in the last 50 months under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Lieutenant Governor said that we had envisioned a prosperous Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and in the last 4 years we had taken several steps to accelerate infrastructure development, create a more conducive environment for industries and increase investment in various sectors of the economy. The Lieutenant Governor said that the people-centric policies, progressive reforms in all sectors and the government’s dedicated focus on empowerment of youth, women, farmers and marginalized sections have paved the way for the rapid and inclusive development of Jammu and Kashmir.
He also urged the farmers and other stakeholders associated with agriculture and allied sectors to avail benefits under the Samagra Krishi Vikas Programme.
On this occasion, the Lieutenant Governor also unveiled the idol of Lord Narayana along with Saint Shri Bal Yogeshwar Das Ji Maharaj.
Assembly member Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Pal Mahajan, senior officers of civil and police administration, army veterans, families of martyrs and prominent citizens from all walks of life were present in the meeting.
