East Champaran, September 24 (HS). In a program organized by the Public Relations Cell of Mahatma Gandhi Central University on Tuesday, the university's e-newspaper 'Pratibimba Campus' was released.

The program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sanjay Srivastava. Senior Advisor of Campus Pratibimb, Head of Media Studies Department, Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, Assistant Professor and Editor of Media Studies Department, Dr. Sunil Deepak Ghodke and Assistant Professor and Deputy Editor of Hindi Department, Dr. Shyamnandan were present on the stage. Addressing the function, the Vice Chancellor said that this newspaper will strengthen the students creatively. Through this, one will get to know in detail about the work done by the university and the students.

Through this new initiative, students have got to learn many things like layout designing, editing, reporting, news writing etc. and will continue to get it in future. He said that soon arrangements will be made to teach martial arts to girl students. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, consultant of e-newspaper, said that this newspaper will showcase the work of the university and will also work to spread all the information here to the society. This will give an opportunity to media students to improve their artistic thinking.

Dr. Sunil Deepak Ghodke, editor of e-newspaper 'Pratibimba Parisar' said that the students of Media Studies department have played an important role in publishing this e-newspaper and they worked hard for it. He said that this e-newspaper is a mirror of various activities of the university. Presenting its outline, he said that this monthly, bilingual e-newspaper will be published regularly. Along with news related to the university, poems, stories and short articles will also be published in it. The layout design of e-newspaper has been done by Prateek Kumar, a student of MJMC 3rd semester.

The vote of thanks was given by the coordinator of the Public Relations Cell and Deputy Editor of Campus Pratibimb Dr. Shyam Nandan. He said that the university is giving its best despite its limited resources. During this, all the students and editorial board who contributed to e-news were felicitated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava.
