The MLA performed Rudrabhishek on the last Monday of Shravan month

Purnia, August 12 (HS). Like every year, this year too, on fourth Monday of Shravan month, Sadar MLA Vijay Khemka performed Maharudra Abhishek of Mahadev in Puneshvar Mahadev temple for public welfare in Tatma Tola Shri Shri 108 Radha Krishna temple of the urban area. Amid recitation of Vedic mantras, Pandit Binod Shastri got the MLA and the devotees to perform Abhishek of milk, sugarcane and Ganga water on the Parshwa Shivling with Shringi and perform the worship and aarti as per the rituals. In the devotional atmosphere resonating with the chants of Har Har Mahadev, a large number of male and female devotees present in the temple took the Mahaprasad of Kheer.

Mr Khemka honoured the members of Shri Krishna Janmashtami Puja Committee with shawls. The MLA thanked the BJP and NDA workers for supporting the temple committee in the religious work of Maharudra Abhishek and distribution of Prasad.
