Big disclosure in constable recruitment

This exam for constable recruitment was conducted on 1 October last year. Investigation revealed that the paper was leaked four days before the exam. The exam was conducted for more than 21 thousand posts, but the exam was cancelled when the paper leak case came to light. After the cancellation of the exam, the EOU has started investigating the matter.

Question papers were sent in open vehicles

The investigation revealed that the confidentiality of the constable recruitment exam question papers was not maintained. SOP was not followed in sending question papers and confidential material from the press to the district treasury. Confidential items were sent to the Kolkata warehouse in open vehicles without any seal or security personnel. The vehicles carrying question papers from the press reached the district treasury 6 hours late. During this time, the GPS installed in the vehicles was not tracked properly. There were many vehicles which were stopped in Patna for several hours even after loading the question papers, then they immediately left for their respective districts.
