Chhattisgarh News: Shocked after bomb threats were received on 19 different flights in three days, Delhi and Mumbai police filed separate FIRs in the matter and arrested a teenager from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. It was found that the teen created a dummy social media account in the name of his friend to trick him into not paying his dues and started posting threats from it.
Mumbai Police has detained a minor accused from Rajnandgavath, Chhattisgarh in the case of false bomb threat received by airlines. The police is also interrogating the minor's father in this case. According to Mumbai Police, the bomb threat was sent from Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh state.
According to police sources, the accused minor had a dispute with one of his friends regarding money transactions. To take revenge for his friend's refusal to repay the loan, Sagir created a fake social media account in his friend's name and threatened to bomb the plane to trap him.
On Monday, four flights taking off from Mumbai were bombed, including IndiGo's Mumbai-Muscat, Mumbai-Jeddah and Air India's Mumbai-New York flights. The 17-year-old boy who issued the bomb threat is the son of a businessman. He was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and taken on four-day remand. According to police sources, he made 12 fake calls and messages.
