Now Swami Prasad Maurya will go to Rae Bareli on Tuesday where he will participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier last week, Swami Prasad Maurya, who was in the news for his controversial statements, had resigned from the post of National General Secretary of Samajwadi Party. Swami Prasad Maurya gave this information on his 'X' account. While posting the resignation letter, he tagged SP President Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party.

Swami Prasad wrote that I did not understand that I am a National General Secretary whose every statement becomes a personal statement and there are some National General Secretaries and leaders of the party whose every statement becomes a statement of the party. Officers of the same level make statements, some personal and some party related, which are beyond my understanding.
