The king of most runs, centuries and world records…this is how he became the God of Cricket

Former Indian cricketer Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, one of the greatest batsmen in the history of world cricket, is celebrating his 51st birthday today. Sachin has achieved such achievements in his cricket career which no batsman in the world has been able to achieve till date. Every young player wants to take inspiration from Sachin and become a great batsman like him. From Rohit Sharma to Virat Kohli, big players consider Sachin as their idol.

Debuted at the age of 16

Sachin Tendulkar made his One Day International debut for Team India in 1989 at the age of just 16. Sachin played his first match against Pakistan. In the debut match, Sachin was hit by a dangerous bouncer due to which his nose started bleeding but still Sachin did not give up. At that time, Pakistan's dangerous bowler Wasim Akram was dominating cricket due to his fast bowling and Wasim's bouncer had hit Sachin on his nose. However, in this match he bravely faced the Pakistani fast bowlers without any fear.

Records from most runs to most centuries

As long as Sachin Tendulkar played cricket for Team India, he created new records. Sachin has made such records which are not easy for any cricketer to break. Sachin has more than 34 thousand runs in his name in international cricket. Apart from this, Sachin also holds the record of scoring 100 centuries in international cricket. Out of which Sachin played 51 Test cricket and 49 ODI cricket. Sachin played 200 matches in Test cricket in which he scored 15921 runs. Apart from this, this great batsman scored 18426 runs in 463 ODI matches.

Sachin made the name of the Indian team very high in international cricket. Today everyone calls him God of Cricket. Sachin was the first cricketer to score a double century in One Day International cricket. Master Blaster had scored this double century against South Africa in the year 2010. Sachin has also been honored with Bharat Ratna.
