Anjali had started a small startup named ‘Jute for Life’ on her own with a very modest investment of just Rs 10,000. Today his business has reached an annual turnover of ₹5 crore. Anjali not only achieved success, but in her journey has also made more than 250 rural women of the village self-reliant by providing employment. The UP government has drawn up this new and modern policy to promote talented small entrepreneurs like Anjali.

Bumper increase in allowances and seed funding, now youth will get more money

Under the new policy of the Yogi government, the monthly allowance given as initial help to the startups coming with new ideas will be increased from Rs 17,500 to Rs 17,500. Big help of up to ₹100 crore to deep-tech and AI

The most special thing about this new policy is that it has made special and big provisions for modern deep-tech areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Robotics, Drone Technology and Aerospace. Special discount for women entrepreneurs, Bundelkhand and Purvanchal

Yogi government has also taken full care of social and regional balance in this policy. Under the new policy, the provisions of special concessions and financial incentives for women entrepreneurs, persons with disabilities, transgender entrepreneurs and economically weaker sections (EWS) have been retained. Apart from this, for the development of backward areas of the state, startups established in Purvanchal and Bundelkhand regions will continue to get additional subsidies and government incentives, so that employment can reach every village. The government’s aim is that these startups should prove to be the strongest backbone in making UP a one trillion dollar economy by the year 2030.
