The husband strangled his wife when she refused to have sex

Mumbai: In a shocking incident that took place in Dehu near Pune, an angry husband strangled his wife to death with a cloth after she refused to allow him to have sex. The couple got married two months ago. Since the wife did not allow him to have sex, it was revealed that the husband committed this act on the suspicion that his wife was having an extramarital affair. After this incident, the police have arrested the accused husband.

According to more information in this regard, the name of the deceased wife was Pratiksha Dayadeep Yadav (22) and she originally hailed from Kurundwadi in Kolhapur district. Pratiksha, who studied up to MSc, got married to Jaydeep Yadav (28), who holds an engineering degree, two months ago. Jaydeep worked in a private company and had come to live in Dehugaon only seven days ago.

Both were happy in the initial days of the count. However, for the last few days, Pratiksha did not allow her husband Jaideep to come near her and kept him away from physical contact. Due to this, Jaideep was suspicious of Pratiksha. This suspicion grew so much that on Thursday evening, Jaideep took her for a walk in the nearby Anand Doh Ghat area. After coming here, there was a lot of dispute between the two by asking the question why he does not allow his wife to have sex. As the dispute increased, an angry Jaideep killed her by slitting her throat with a knife.

After this incident, to avoid any evidence, he threw his mobile phone in the Idrani river. Meanwhile, a stir was created after a woman's body was found at Dehu Ghat. As soon as the incident was known, a police team immediately reached the spot and after further investigation, arrested Jaideep within a few hours. After this, the police sent Pratiksha's body to a government hospital in Pimpri for postmortem and handed over her body to her relatives.
