Giving information about this, District President of Government Teachers Association Punjab Unit Patiala Jaswinder Singh Samana and General Secretary Paramjeet Singh Patiala said that the department has given construction of new rooms, bathrooms, cleaning, repair and other works to the schools under various schemes. Are. A grant of lakhs of rupees was released in the PFMS account of schools. This grant was being spent by the teachers, but suddenly the government stopped all the payments in the PFMS account, due to which all the construction works in the schools had been completed, but their payment was not done yet, but all this was done through the PFMS portal. Payment could not be made due to closure. He said that the teachers have paid a lot of money from their own pockets for the hard work of the masons and there are still a lot of liabilities remaining. He said that shopkeepers and contractors are demanding money from school teachers, but teachers are facing problems due to closure of their accounts by the government. He said that this is the first time that the portal has remained closed for such a long time. He demanded the government to open these accounts as soon as possible.

Talking about this, Deputy District Education Officer (SEC) Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma said that this matter has come to his notice, regarding which the Finance Department has been informed.
