NEET paper leak controversy: Investigations so far have revealed that the NEET papers for admission to medical colleges have been leaked in not one or two but five states and the demand to cancel the previous exam and conduct the entire exam again has intensified. One after the other, names of close associates of Bihar BJP and JDU leaders are coming out in this paper leak. Due to this, the Education Ministry is being accused of covering up the paper leak scam. It has also been alleged that the money earned through corruption by distributing question papers was used in the Lok Sabha elections.
Shiv, the son of Sanjeev Mukhiya, the mastermind of the NEET paper leak scam, is a doctor, while the daughter and son-in-law of the second accused Sikandar Yadav are also doctors. The question has arisen whether these two became doctors by taking admission through fraud. Both Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan are under suspicion after Shiv repeatedly got bail despite being involved in the Dr. case. The second mastermind of the NEET paper leak scandal is Bihar's veteran BJP leader Dr. Amit Anand. Sanjay Jaiswal's office is minister. His pictures with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary have also gone viral.
Pictures of Sanjeev Mukhiya's wife Mamta with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have gone viral. Mamta also contested the 2020 elections as a candidate of Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party. Pictures of Sanjeev Mukhiya and Mamta visiting Chirag Paswan's house have also gone viral. It is said that Sanjeev Mukhiya had leaked the paper of the teacher recruitment exam in Bihar.
Medical test paper was leaked in the first year of Modi government
Before NEET, All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) was conducted for admission to medical courses. At that time CBSE was conducting AIPMT. After Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, there was a scam in AIPMT paper in the first year of his tenure.
In 2015, the AIPMT exam was held on May 3 at 1050 centers. After this, it was discovered that the AIPMT paper had been cracked but the CBSE was not ready to cancel the exam and conduct it again, so a petition was filed in the Supreme Court.
When the investigation revealed that only 44 students had taken advantage of the paper leak, CBSE argued that only 44 students cannot be forced to take the exam again. The Supreme Court rejected CBSE's argument and ordered a re-examination of the AIPMT exam on June 15.
The investigation into the paper leak revealed that the question paper and about 90 answer keys were circulated in 10 states through electronic devices. Rs 15 to 20 lakh was taken from each candidate and corruption worth crores of rupees was done. Considering the current situation is similar to that of 2015, there is a demand that the exam be conducted again.
