The government which protects criminals should be dismissed: Raju Batham

Shivpuri, March 1 (HS). In protest against the heinous crimes and atrocities committed against women in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, the District Bharatiya Janata Party staged a protest at Madhav Chowk and demanded the President to dismiss the Mamata Banerjee government.

District President Raju Batham said that the anti-women Mamata government of West Bengal is in nexus with criminals involved in heinous crimes. Many ministers of Mamata government are either in jail or on bail in various types of scams.

A game of political violence and murder is going on openly all over Bengal under the patronage of the government. There, people of a particular society have been given complete freedom to commit atrocities legally. An example of the same is the Sandeshkhali incident. Here, under the protection of power, Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shahjahan is committing unethical acts like sexual harassment of women, illegal occupation, extortion and the government is turning a blind eye to all the incidents. Under pressure from the court, he has been arrested for show off. Everything in the name of action is void. We all BJP, through a public memorandum, request the President to dismiss the West Bengal government without any delay and take strict action against the culprits and provide justice to the victims. On this occasion, BJP workers and officials including District General Secretary Sonu Birthare, Gagan Khatik, Minister Mukesh Chauhan, Office Minister Rajiv Jain were present.
