On Tuesday, former Deputy Chief Minister cum Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav addressed an election meeting organized in support of Congress candidate Ajit Sharma from the Grand Alliance in Kahalgaon Assembly of the district. During his address, Tejashwi Yadav fiercely attacked BJP and PM Modi.
Tejashwi Yadav, while calling upon the people present in the election meeting to change the Modi government at the Centre, said that a government which lies to the public can never do good to the general public. Tejashwi emphatically said that today BJP people are boasting about giving five kg food grains per month and linking it to development. What could be more ridiculous than this that the government which has been in power for 10 years is talking about five kilos of food grains.
He said that the previous government also used to do the work of giving ration. Describing the public as the owner, Tejashwi said that in true sense the public is the owner but today the government has started considering itself as the owner. Tejashwi appealed to the people present at the program to make Grand Alliance candidate Ajit Sharma victorious and said that this is the right time. When the government which lies and does not fulfill its promises is changed. Many MLAs and workers of the Grand Alliance participated in the program.
