The government has formed a high-level committee to reform the NTA, which also includes the former chairman of ISRO

NEET Controversy: The Ministry of Education has constituted a high-level committee in NTA regarding the rigging in the NEET UG 2024 exam. The Ministry of Education has constituted a high-level committee of experts to conduct the examinations in a transparent, simple and fair manner. Dr. K., former Chairman of ISRO and Chairman of IIT Kanpur BOG, will make recommendations on improving the examination process system, improving data security protocols and the structure and functioning of the NTA.

The committee will submit its report in two months.

The committee constituted by the Ministry of Education will assess the role and responsibilities of officials at each level as well as the existing grievance redressal process of NTA. This committee will work on every area where improvement is needed and will also make recommendations to increase efficiency. The committee will submit its report to the ministry within two months after all the investigations.

3. Prof. Ramamurthy K (Professor Emeritus Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras)

5. Prof. Aditya Mittal (Dean Student Affairs, IIT Delhi)

6. Govind Jaiswal (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India)

Government is committed to zero error examination

Amidst the NEET-UGC NET controversy, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has accepted the matter of reform in NTA. He informed about the formation of a high-level committee in a press conference. At the same time, he warned of strict action against the culprits and said, 'The government is committed to zero error examination. The government is going to form a high-level committee for investigation which will give recommendations on NTA. The interest of the students is our priority. In which no compromise will be made. The government will not spare any criminal.'
