The goal of Modi government is strong farmers-prosperous India: Kameshwar Singh

Prayagraj, 15 February (HS). Gram Parikrama Abhiyan is dedicated to the development of village poor and farmer brothers. The goal of Modi government is to create empowered farmers and prosperous India. To achieve this goal, it is providing financial assistance of Rs. 6000 to more than 11 crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for the farmers of the country.

Chief guest BJP Kisan Morcha State President Kameshwar Singh said these things in the Gram Parikrama Yatra meeting of BJP Kisan Morcha Mahanagar. In the meeting held in Civil Lines, he told the workers that under the Kisan Credit Card, he worked to provide rates worth Rs 4.7 lakh crore to crores of farmers and made a historic increase in the MSP of wheat by 63.5 percent and MSP of paddy by 66 percent. So far, 352.52 lakh Kisan Credit Cards have been distributed in Uttar Pradesh and 99 irrigation projects worth Rs 77,595 crore have been started. In the financial year 2023-24, 79 irrigation projects were completed in Uttar Pradesh and Rs 64,694 crore was transferred to 2.63 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

He said that we will implement all these schemes by going to every house of the farmer brothers under Gram Parikrama and will work to solve their basic problems. He said that all the farmer brothers of the country are standing with BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and are ready to form the government for the third time with an overwhelming majority under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that in the meeting, the programs conducted so far in the context of Gram Parikrama Yatra were reviewed. It was presided over by Kisan Morcha President Rajesh Singh Patel and conducted by General Secretary Sunny Singh. On this occasion, District Minister Ashwani Singh, Rohit Sharma Sanjay Singh, Sandeep Yadav, Harikesh Bahadur, Divyanshu Trivedi, Sharda Ojha, Lal Babu and hundreds of Kisan Morcha workers were present.
