Sahebganj, 22 July (HS). Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the main purpose of coming here today is to light up the houses of you villagers. Whether it is a house in the city or a hut in the village, now all the houses should be illuminated, this is our aim. The Chief Minister said that availability of energy to every home, electricity to every home is the priority of his government.

He was addressing the inauguration of 132/33 KV Grid Sub-Station (Barhet) and 132 KV (Pakur-Rajmahal) double path LILO transmission line and inauguration-laying of foundation stone and asset distribution program of various schemes organized at Singa Maidan under Barhet block of Sahibganj district on Monday. The Chief Minister said that it was our resolution that there should be adequate electricity facility not only in the city but also in the villages. For a long time, the villagers living in the Barhet area were suffering from the problem of electricity, today their government is solving it. Today we all have gathered here to solve these problems. Today, in the presence of all of you, the Barhet Electricity Sub-Station Grid has been formally inaugurated.

The state government is giving 200 units of electricity free of cost to the citizens of the state

The Chief Minister said that not only the power grid has been inaugurated, but the state government has also given a big gift to our poor, downtrodden, rural people who are economically weak. Now the state government is also providing 200 units of electricity free of cost to the people of Jharkhand. The Chief Minister said that complaints come from many places that no meter has been installed in anyone's house, yet the electricity bill is coming and they are not getting the benefit of 200 units. We will resolve all these complaints soon. A decision will be taken on this in the cabinet meeting to be held on the 24th, so that all the problems related to electricity of the people of the state can be resolved.

The Chief Minister said that this is not just an inauguration, but the officials of the electricity department have been instructed that this grid sub-station should operate smoothly. There should be strong arrangements to ensure that there are as few breakdowns as possible in the grid sub-station. There should not be any obstruction in this and there should not be a situation of breakdown.

The recruitment process will continue

The Chief Minister said that the program “Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar” is going to start again. He said that very soon a race will be organized for police recruitment. Preparations for this have been done. Lakhs of applications have been received for constable recruitment, its recruitment will also start. A few days ago, 1500 teachers have been given appointment letters. The Chief Minister said that the process of appointment is being taken forward by removing the obstacles very fast. The process of giving appointment will continue continuously.

Despite the challenges, the plans were put into action

The Chief Minister said that as soon as his government was formed in the state, the global pandemic Corona infection knocked. For almost two years, the impact of Covid-19 was on development work. Despite all the challenges, our government implemented many ambitious schemes for public welfare within the state, which benefited people of all classes and communities including the indigenous, tribal, Dalit, exploited, backward of Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand became the first state in the country to implement the Sarvajan Pension Scheme. Under the Sarvajan Pension Scheme, today all the eligible beneficiaries have been covered under the pension scheme. Now no old person, widow, disabled person is left out of the pension scheme. He said that his government is providing the rights to people of all classes and communities.

'Shivgadi' will be developed as a tourist destination

The Chief Minister said that 'Shivgadi' situated in Rajmahal is known as a religious tourist place. During Shravani Mela, devotees come here and they travel a long distance to offer water to Mahadev. The state government has decided that there should be a ropeway along with stairs here, so that more devotees join here and this place can be known as a famous tourist place in the country. In the coming time, this religious place will be covered with high-level facilities.

The Chief Minister gave the gift of these schemes

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated 132/33 kV grid sub-station of 100 MVA capacity and 132 kV double path LILO transmission line at a cost of Rs 7064 lakh. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 5 schemes worth Rs 16581.866 lakh. In this, Rs 7064 lakh was inaugurated and foundation stone of 4 schemes worth Rs 9517.866 lakh was laid. Apart from this, the Chief Minister distributed assets worth Rs 3880.955 lakh among a total of 1039 beneficiaries in Rajmahal and Barhet blocks.

-Project amount: Rs 70.64 crore.

-Beneficiary areas: Sitapahar, Patna, Barharwa and Barhet.

– Line length: 27.414 km.
