Hiralal Thakur was born in Lahore. He was interested in acting and art since childhood. Even when he went to watch Ramleela with his family, his focus was on everyone’s performance and looks. He considered Ravana as his favorite character in Ramleela.
Hiralal Thakur’s wife-
Hiralal Thakur started working in films in 1928. Her film debut was with Shankardev Arya’s Daughters of Today. This film was the beginning of Pakistani cinema. After this, he continued to appear in many films and became the first choice of the director. When India and Pakistan were divided, he came and settled in Kolkata. He married Darpan Rani in 1945 and settled there.

Apart from films, Hiralal Thakur also earned a lot of name. He was one of the warriors who fought for the freedom of the country. He was also active in the freedom struggle along with Bhagat Singh. Hiralal Thakur left this world in the year 1981.
