Bhopal, 2 September (HS). After relaxation in the norms of road construction in Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the first road in the country has been built in Bijatola village of Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. Construction of road in tribal area will help the people here in education and business. It is also noteworthy that the first PM Janman Colony in the country was also built in Madhya Pradesh.
This information was given in the review meeting of Panchayat and Rural Development works in Vikas Bhawan Bhopal on Monday. The meeting was chaired by Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Singh Patel. Minister Patel gave instructions to complete the incomplete works of the scheme. He said that whatever problems are there related to the scheme, they will be resolved.
Minister Patel congratulated the Madhya Pradesh Road Authority for its excellent work. He said that the work of building houses and roads has started under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. Madhya Pradesh is leading in this scheme which is the priority of the Prime Minister. He said that the Madhya Pradesh Road Authority has done commendable work.
