The first batch of pilgrims from Pahalgam and Baltal left for the holy Amarnath cave shrine

Jammu, June 29 (HS). Pilgrims left for the holy Amarnath cave this morning from Pahalgam in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal. In Pahalgam, these pilgrims proceeded from Nunwan base camp. This is the first batch of pilgrims leaving from both the places, who will have darshan of Baba Barfani by this evening.

The entire atmosphere in Pahalgam and Baltal is filled with Shiva. People are moving ahead chanting Jai Baba Barfani. Yesterday morning, 4603 pilgrims left for Kashmir from Jammu amid three-tier security arrangements chanting Bam-Bam Bhole and Jai Baba Barfani. All of them reached the Baltal and Pahalgam base camps late in the evening. On the way to the Yatra, the group was welcomed at Kali Mata Mandir in Tikri, Udhampur.
