Lucknow, 19 August (HS). On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, dignitaries, many organizations and children tied rakhi to Governor Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhavan. Those who tied rakhi included daughters of Vatsalya Gram Vrindavan, children of Sakshi Foundation, Kanpur, daughters of Let's Give Hope Foundation, Lucknow, children of Umeed Sanstha, Lucknow, Brahma Kumari of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwari Vishwavidyalaya Lucknow and children of Banbury Cross Education Academy School.
On this occasion, the Governor tied Rakhi to Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, officers and employees of Raj Bhavan and their children and also distributed sweets to the children and wishing them a bright future, said that this festival, a symbol of love and affection between brothers and sisters, strengthens love, security and family bonds.
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, inspired by the Governor, children of officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan visited the District Jail, Lucknow today and tied Rakhi to more than 150 prisoners there and also established communication with them.
