The feeling of nationalism was seen in the procession of the ninth day of Muharram, the national flag was waved along with the Nishan flag

Araria 16 July (HS). On Tuesday, the ninth day of Muharram, various Akharas took out a procession of Navami in the city, in which people from the Akhara participated with traditional weapons and sticks. The procession passed through various localities and reached Dussehra Darbar via the main road of the city. Where the whole city echoed with the slogans of Yaar Ya Hussain.

Along with the Nishan flag, the national flag was also seen fluttering in the procession, which was reflecting the love for nationalism. Tight security arrangements were made for the Navami procession. SDPO Mukesh Kumar Saha and the police station in-charge were constantly monitoring along with police officers and forces.

A large number of small children were also present in the procession, who were winning the applause of the people by demonstrating physical skills and stunts with swords and sticks. However, the roads remained busy for some time during the procession that passed through the city. The movement of vehicles and traffic system were adversely affected.

First of all, the Akhara procession started from Jumman Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Post Office Chowk, Sadar Road, Darbhangi Tola and then from near the station. Dussehra reached Kachhari Rann. People of the Hindu community led the procession giving the message of peace and brotherhood.

On this occasion, Moharram Committee President Mohd. Dilshad Pradhan, General Secretary Wahid Ansari, Secretary Ghalib Azad and a large number of people were present.

SDM Shailaja Pandey, DSP Mukesh Kumar Saha, EO Suryanand Singh, BDO, CO and SHO Raghvendra Kumar Singh were personally monitoring the law and order situation.
