Sharad Kumar, District Minister of Bihar State Non-Gazetted Employees Federation, District Branch, on Wednesday met the Chief Engineer of the Irrigation Department and drew attention to the problem through a letter regarding the lack of cleanliness in various offices of the Irrigation Department for the last two days.
It was said through the letter that the absence of daily cleaning in the office is completely contrary to the ambitious scheme of the government Swachh Bharat Mission and Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan. The district minister told under what circumstances the cleaning staff working for years in the irrigation department have been forbidden from working by their controlling officer.
This is not clear. Also, during the talks, a request was made to hold a meeting of ACP MACP and give the benefit of timely promotion to the employees of the irrigation department. Attention was also drawn towards solving other problems of the employees. Irrigation Employees Union President Umesh Prasad Yadav, Minister Khages Singh, Assistant Minister Amit Bhardwaj, Treasurer Gopal Singh, Shyam Sundar Yadav, etc. were present in the delegation talks.
