Lucknow, August 13 (HS). On the occasion of Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, Independence Day and Har-Ghar Tiranga, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing programs across the country to remember the brave warriors and freedom fighters who contributed to the independence of the country. In this sequence, seminars, rallies, lectures and various competitions and cultural programs are being organized in 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh by the Central Communication Bureau Lucknow, so that the young generation of the country can know the heroic saga of its martyrs.

On the eve of the program, officers and employees of various units of Central Public Works Department, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Lucknow paid homage to the martyrs at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aliganj, Lucknow. On this occasion, Himanshu Pandey, Chief Engineer, Central Public Works Department, Lucknow, Assistant Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Vijay Kumar flagged off the Prachar Rath and Tiranga Rally.

These chariots, filled with pictures related to the contribution and valour of the country's independence and information about the freedom fighters who displayed indomitable courage, will go to various public places in Lucknow city and spread awareness. Along with this, a photo exhibition of Partition Horrors Memorial Day will also be promoted through these chariots.

On this occasion, the chief guest Himanshu Pandey said that on the call of the country's Prime Minister Modi, under the Har Ghar Tiranga program, we have to give a message of patriotism by hoisting the tricolor on our homes and on the Partition Horrors Memorial Day, we have to remember the saga of the fighters who contributed to the country's independence. He called upon the students that for the honor of their country, they will have to work for the country in every field.

On this occasion, Additional Director General of PIB and Central Communication Bureau, Vijay Kumar said that only by knowing the stories of martyrdom of freedom fighters, the coming generations will be inspired by them and will be ready to sacrifice everything for their motherland.

On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Vijay Kumar, while addressing the gathering said that one should always be ready to enhance the pride of the country and the tricolour. In our country, we should learn from the soldiers who protect the country on the border and sacrifice everything to make the country strong.

On this occasion, a quiz competition was organized among the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya by Regional Publicity Officer Jai Singh and the winning participants were felicitated by the department by giving them attractive prizes.

On this occasion, Director, Central Bureau of Communication, Manoj Kumar Verma, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Director, Press Information Bureau, Dr. M.S. Yadav and many dignitaries were present.
