Solan, August 30 (HS). On Friday morning, a trolley loaded with apples went out of control and overturned on the road near Jabli on National Highway-5 Kalka- Shimla. The driver of the trolley remained trapped inside for about two and a half hours.
Actually, after the trolley overturned, the driver and the cleaner were trapped inside the trolley. After getting the information, the police and rescue team reached the spot and immediately took the cleaner out and took him to Dharampur Hospital with the help of 108 ambulance for treatment. Where, seeing his critical condition, he was referred to Shimla IGMC. But the driver of the trolley could not be taken out because his arm was stuck under the trolley. After about two and a half hours of hard work, he could be taken out. After which, seeing the critical condition of the driver, he has been referred to PGI Chandigarh.
Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said that a truck loaded with apples overturned on the highway after going out of control. A hydra was called from Parmanu to remove the truck, due to which the rescue operation was delayed. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
