The draft of the integrated voter list will be published on July 25: Election Officer

Khunti, July 2 (HS). District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra on Tuesday organized a meeting regarding the successful conduct of the second special summary revision program of voter list 2024.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that considering July 1, 2024 as the eligibility date, the second special summary revision program of the voter list has been fixed in the state. The revision program will have two phases, pre-revision activity and revision activity. The period till July 24 is fixed for pre-revision activities. The draft of the integrated voter list will be published on July 25. The period from July 25 to August 20 is fixed for revision activities.

The final publication of the integrated voter list will be done on August 20. During the revision period, special campaign days have been set on 27th and July and 3rd and 4th August. All the concerned officials present in the meeting were directed to ensure house to house verification work on priority basis. At the same time, instructions were given to do other works like new form generation, correction in voter list, ASD voters, changing black white photo etc. as per the guidelines of the Election Commission.

Instructions were given to compulsorily tag a supervisor with the BLO. The District Election Officer directed everyone to work within the time limit on priority basis for the successful conduct of the second special summary revision program.
