Varanasi, July 12 (HS). District Magistrate S.Rajalingam inaugurated the Vidya Shakti Project at Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School in Shivpur on Friday. Through this project, children will be given online education through digital smart class.
After the inauguration, the District Magistrate and Chief Development Officer sat with the children and saw the ongoing online class and took information from them about the studies. On this occasion, the District Magistrate said that digital smart class is a commendable initiative to make the children of government schools competitive. When government and private schools are compared, a gap is found in such facilities. Keeping these points in mind, special attention is being given to smart classes. Our effort is to have a system of smart classes in all government schools, so that the quality of education increases and the children of government schools can also become more competitive by getting better mathematics and science education. He told that this technology has been developed by IIT Madras. Such schools are declared Nipun Vidyalaya by the government.
On this occasion, the District Magistrate also felicitated the Block Education Officers and Coordinators who did better work under Vidya Shakti by giving them certificates and symbols. Also, stationery for reading and writing was provided to the children entering from class V to class VI.
