In a village of Iglas Kotwali area of the district, a mother of two children (40 years) has been seriously accused of physically abusing a 17-year-old minor nephew living in her neighborhood for the last two and a half years. The limit was reached when, ignoring the public shame, the woman declared herself two and a half months pregnant in front of the Panchayat and claimed that the child belonged to her minor nephew and she would now leave her husband and live with him.
