The crowd at Kamrunag lake filled with notes is continuously increasing

Mandi, June 23 (HS). The crowd continues to visit Bada Deo Kamrunag in Mandi district. Although the annual Saranahuli fair has been concluded here on the first Ashadh i.e. 14th June, but it did not affect the devotees' visit. During the visit to Kamrunag on Sunday, it was found that not only Mandi district but also Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Kullu and other districts of the state as well as lakhs of people from other states attended this place in a single day.

The movement of people starts from 4 am and continues throughout the day. All the routes from Rohanda, whether on foot or from Chail Chowk Mandhoglu, Shala, Jachch or Jahal, are filled with devotees and tourists who have reached in thousands of vehicles. Wherever there is empty space in the forests, vehicles are seen everywhere. The number of vehicles has increased so much that the roads have become too small and there is a jam for hours. The condition of the roads going from Shala, Mandhoglu, Jachch and Jahal to the border of Kamrunag is so pathetic that hundreds of vehicles are panting on the way and devotees have to walk miles on foot. The roads have become like drains. Powerful vehicles are somehow reaching the border of Kamrunag, but these roads become life-threatening on a little rain.

Here, Kamrunag lake is completely filled with currency notes. Sunday being a holiday, children, old and young, young men and women, men and women reached here. There were queues for darshan. In this lake, which the devotees consider as a form of God, devotees offer currency, coins, jewelry etc. as a vow. Jewelry and coins get submerged in the lake but currency notes are clearly visible floating on the water of the lake. It is the effect of the intense heat in the plains or devotion, but the way the view is these days in this lake complex of God Kamrunag at a height of 9 thousand feet above the sea level is unimaginable, amazing, exciting, attractive and surprising.

There is a crowd-like atmosphere on all the roads. The boundary of Kamrunag complex, situated amidst dense deodar forests, starts about one and a half kilometers around the complex. Outside this, generous people and organizations have also set up langar bhandaras. People have demanded from the state government, Mandi district and Gohar subdivision administration that crores of rupees are being offered as offerings in this temple every day, its glory has started spreading across the country, the number of devotees and religious tourists has increased tremendously, thousands of people have got employment directly or indirectly, the products of local farmers and gardeners like plum, apple, peach, apricot, French bean, potato, cabbage, lingad, peas, flowers etc. have started being sold near the houses on the roadside, in such a situation, the dilapidated roads leading to it should be repaired. The condition of all the connecting roads from Mandhoglu, Shala, Jach and Jahal etc. should be improved. People here are facing a lot of problems. At least the roads leading to such tourist and religious places should be given priority so that religious tourism can increase further.
