Mirzapur, 24 February (HS). An investor awareness program was jointly organized by the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) and Srigyanshila on Saturday at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha. AMFI CEO Venkat Chalasani inaugurated the program.
CEO AMFI said that the economic development of the country depends only on the awareness of investors and their unmatched cooperation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign is to make the Indian economy the third largest economy in the world, in which the cooperation and contribution of investors is very important.
He said that AMFI is an apex organization of mutual funds in the country, which is working for the development and promotion of mutual funds in the country. Stock market regulator SEBI has given AMFI many rights related to the development of mutual funds. Investors should choose their need, time interval and investment option accordingly.
Senior Advisor Suryakant Sharma highlighted the importance of financial security of people. Investors were encouraged to put financial security before prosperity. Former Head of Department and Head of Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Asharam Tripathi explained the importance of investment. CA Vishal Singh also expressed his views.
