Dhamtari, September 4 (HS). After a long time, the Municipal Corporation removed encroachment on Rudri Road ahead of Ambedkar Chowk on September 4. This has brought partial relief to the people. This action was taken in view of the traffic pressure and now the roadside looks empty.
Rudri Road has become the busiest road. There is movement of vehicles from morning to night. Accidents also happen, to prevent which stoppers have been installed at many places. Small traders are doing business at many places on the road. Due to which traffic is affected. On Wednesday, the Municipal Corporation team went out to remove encroachment. Action was taken from Ambedkar Chowk to Collectorate turn. The Municipal Corporation removed those doing business by filling gravel, stones and other construction material on the roadside. The debris was filled on the drain side with the help of JCB. Along with this, their shops were moved back after giving advice. Apart from this, action was also taken at many places. A bank was asked to make parking arrangements. There is a possibility of accident due to the material of the mall being built near Amaltaspuram on Rudri Road being on the roadside. Its manager has also been called and asked to immediately put the material on the side.
During this, Lomash Devangan, Kamta Nagendra, Namrata Nagvanshi, Sunil Salunke, Govind Patre, Shyamu Sona, Banshideep, Niketan Yadav, Yogesh Rajak, Sanjay Yadav, Sheshnarayan Patel, Amrita Patel, Hemlata, ASI Ramakrishna Sahu from traffic, Head Constable Uttam Sahu were present. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner PC Sarva said that action has been taken on encroachment on the instructions of the Commissioner after receiving the letter from the Collector and SP. In which encroachment has been removed from Ambedkar Chowk to Collectorate turn. Signboards installed on the roadside were confiscated. Businessmen were moved back after giving them advice. Notice will be issued to the operator regarding the material kept on the roadside near Amaltaspuram. This action will continue continuously.
