Varanasi: A shameful news has come from Uttar Pradesh, two of the three accused in the gang rape of a B.Tech student of IIT BHU, Varanasi have been released on bail. Not only this, after release, the accused were welcomed by garlanding them. According to the claim, at the time of the incident, all the accused Kunal Pandey, Abhishek Chauhan, Aksham Patel, two of whom were allegedly associated with the BJP's IT cell. Two accused Kunal Pandey and Abhishek Chauhan have got bail from the High Court.

In November last year, a gang rape incident was reported in the campus of IIT BHU. After which the police arrested these three accused. Two accused have absconded within eight months of their arrest, while the third accused is likely to escape soon. Kunal Pandey left on 24 August and Abhishek Chauhan on 29 August. After which they were welcomed with phulhars in the area. The surprising thing is that these three accused have also confessed their crime.

The accused admitted that they kidnapped the 20-year-old student and took off her clothes at gunpoint and made a video of it. According to DCP R.S. Chauhan, a case has also been registered against the accused under NSA, Uttar Pradesh Gangster Act and Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act. At the same time, both the accused released from jail were seen cutting a cake with Varanasi Cantt BJP MLA Saurabh Srivastava. The picture of which is going viral on social media. After which the BJP MLA clarified that this picture is five years old.
