Jaipur, August 5 (HS). MP Madan Rathore raised a question in the Rajya Sabha on the Mission Shakti scheme launched by the Central Government for women empowerment. Rathore sought details of the state of Rajasthan from 2021 to 2023-24 regarding the Mission Shakti scheme for women empowerment. In response to the question, Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi told that the Government of India launched the Integrated Women Empowerment Program Mission Shakti as an umbrella scheme for the safety, security and empowerment of women in the entire country including Rajasthan state during the period of the 15th Finance Commission from 2021-22 to 2025-26. Under this, a budget of Rs 123.84 crore was released to the state of Rajasthan in the last three years 2021-22, Rs 90 crore in 2022-23 and Rs 144.18 crore in 2023-24.
BJP State President Madan Rathore said that the BJP's central government is alert about all issues in the interest of the country. Under this, an amount of about 358 crore rupees was sanctioned to Rajasthan in the last three years under the Mission Shakti scheme for women empowerment. Despite the central government giving so much budget to Rajasthan, the condition of women was very pathetic during the Congress rule. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government at the center is releasing budget for the development of every state without any discrimination.
