The collector inspected the three-storey Shastri Bazar complex under construction

Raipur, May 29 (HS). Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh inspected the three-storey Shastri Bazaar complex being built under the Smart City Project on Wednesday. During this, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra was also with him. Collector Dr. Singh directed the officials and the construction agency to complete the remaining construction work of the project by June and also ensure the allotment of shops.

Under the Smart City Mission, 21 shops are being built on each floor including the ground floor in the three-storey Shastri Bazaar complex under construction. A total of 84 shops will be built in the entire complex. Arrangement has been made to keep 70 bikes and 30 cars in the basement parking of the complex. Raipur Smart City Ltd. has also made a plan to illuminate the complex with solar energy by installing solar panels on the roof of this building. This complex, which is under construction at a cost of about Rs 9 crore, is targeted to be completed by the end of June.

During the inspection tour, Raipur Smart City Managing Director Abinash Mishra informed the collector about the allotment of shops along with making him aware of the technical aspects related to the project. During the inspection tour, Raipur Smart City Chief Operating Officer Ujjwal Porwal, General Manager (Technical) PK Panchayati, Additional General Manager (Technical) Imran Khan, Zone 3 Commissioner Preeti Singh, Executive Engineer Rakesh Avadhiya, Deputy Manager Sanjay Agarwal, Assistant Manager Yogendra Sahu and the team of the work agency were present.
