Damoh, June 9 (HS). Under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan of the Madhya Pradesh government, work is going on to conserve, promote and clean water sources in the entire state. On Sunday, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar participated in the cleanliness campaign and cleaned the Futera pond in Damoh city. On this occasion, many enthusiastic youths associated with the campaign along with people who love nature came forward to cooperate and cleaned the pond.
Officials were also present along with Divisional Magistrate R.L. Bagri of Damoh, Chief Municipal Officer Sushma Dhakad, Tehsildar Udaniyan and Naib Tehsildar Chaturvedi. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that the society should come forward in the campaign and the Collector should follow behind and join it. He appealed to the general public to participate in the campaign and make their important contribution in saving their heritage.
The collector said that some people have been working continuously in the campaign for the last several months, which is a good step. It should be known that Nityaa Pyaasi along with his colleagues is continuously working for the cleanliness of the lake and with him there is a team of people who love nature who participate in the cleanliness campaign every day.
