The Chief Minister from Himmatnagar, Gujarat started buying peanuts at discounted prices after eating them.

Himmatnagar/Ahmedabad, 11 November (H.I.S.) Procurement of groundnuts at subsidized prices has started in Gujarat from today. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel started procurement from Himmatnagar. The Chief Minister started the purchase of agricultural crops including groundnut, soybean, moong at discounted prices by eating peanut leaves. State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel was also present on this occasion. Groundnuts will be procured at concessional prices at more than 160 procurement centers across the state. More than 3,33,000 farmers have registered online for the sale. Adequate quantity of peanuts will be purchased from all registered farmers at the price of Rs 1356.60 per 20 kg.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said- Why are you all quiet? Discounted prices are nice, right? When asked about the market price outside, he said – 900 to 1000 and the government is going to buy it at the price of Rs 1356. That's why the price is good. Along with this, Bhupendra Patel wished everyone a Happy New Year. The Prime Minister has always thought about today and tomorrow. Narendra Modi has worked to provide the flowing water of Narmada to the farmers and has also constructed Amrit Sarovar to meet the water needs in the coming future. Arrangements have also been started from today to ensure that rain water reaches the ground.

The government has made efforts to ensure that farmers get adequate electricity. Currently, electricity is provided for 8 hours, but if needed, the government has also provided electricity for 10 hours. The government always stands with the farmers.

Prime Minister Modi is running a campaign to give priority to natural farming. Gujarat is progressing very well in this campaign under the leadership of the Governor. If we move towards natural farming then the coming generations will benefit from it.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reached the cotton market at Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district and started purchasing groundnuts at statewide concessional prices. With this, procurement of groundnut, soybean, urad and moong at discounted prices has started at more than 160 procurement centers across the state. On the basis of registration and cultivation area of ​​various crops in Sabarkantha district, seven procurement centers have been identified for groundnut, six for soybean, eight for urad and two for moong. Farmers are registering online to sell peanuts at subsidized price.

Procurement will be done at concessional prices at the procurement centers at seven tehsil headquarters of Sabarkantha district. 9474 farmers of the district have registered for selling peanuts. Soybean, moong and urad will also be purchased at concessional prices. 966 farmers, 14 farmers of Mag and 31 farmers of Urad have registered for the sale of soybean.
