The central government extended the deadline for giving feedback on the draft rules by 15 days

New Delhi, July 25 (HS). The central government on Thursday extended the date for submitting comments on the proposed rules to prevent and regulate annoying calls for stakeholders by a fortnight. It has been extended from July 21, 2024 for 15 days i.e. till August 5.

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs said in a statement that the last date for submitting comments and feedback on the draft guidelines for prevention and regulation of unsolicited and inappropriate commercial communications, 2024 has been extended by 15 days. According to the ministry, now the last date for submission of this has been extended by 15 days from July 21, 2024 to August 5, 2024.

According to the ministry, it has been decided to extend the deadline for submitting comments/feedback on the draft guidelines for prevention and regulation of unsolicited and inappropriate commercial communication, 2024 in view of the requests received from various associations, associations and other stakeholders.
