Kannauj, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). The defense lawyers had raised objection to the charge sheet filed by the police in the famous rape case involving a minor in the district. The court had given time to both the sides to present their arguments. After hearing the arguments of the defense and government advocate Naveen Dubey, the court accepted all the allegations made by the police. Gave permission to run the case.

Let us tell you that this matter is related to Chaudhary Chandan Singh College located in Kanpatiapur village of Kannauj. Where on the night of 11th August, Samajwadi Party leader Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested in objectionable condition along with a minor.

upheld all charges

According to the police, Nawab Singh's younger brother Neelu Yadav tried to destroy the evidence with the help of co-accused Pooja Tomar. In return, Rs 4 lakh was transferred to the account of a close friend of Pooja. Later on 21 August, Pooja Tomar was arrested and on 3 September, Neelu Yadav surrendered in the court.

In this case, the police had filed a charge sheet against Nawab Singh Yadav, Pooja Tomar and Neelu Yadav under the POCSO Act. Defense lawyers had objected to the charge sheet, but on Monday the court ordered the trial of the case under all sections. Special Judge Alka Yadav, after hearing arguments from both sides, upheld all the charges.

The case will proceed under these sections

– Nawab Singh Yadav will be prosecuted under sections 65 (1), 115 (2), 351 (3), 61 (2) of IPC and section 3/4 (2) of POCSO Act.

– Co-accused Pooja Tomar will be booked under sections 65 (1), 115 (2), 351 (3), 61 (2), 238 (B) of the IPC and section 16/17 of the POCSO Act.

– Neelu Yadav will be prosecuted under section 238 (B) of IPC.

Along with this, action has also been taken against all three under the Gangster Act. Whose hearing will be held in a separate court.
