Chaudhary said that within 24 hours of the incident, an FIR was registered so that action could be taken against the accused. Within 24 hours of filing the FIR, all the accused were identified and seven of them were sent to jail, while the remaining one was found dead in the neighbouring state of Odisha. Ensuring the safety of the victim's family is the first priority of the Vishnudev Sai government, so immediate security was provided after discussing with the Superintendent of Police about ensuring the safety of the victim's family members. So that the family members can live without fear and pressure. A financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh 12 thousand was sanctioned to the victim through the district administration. Giving information about the formation of a special investigation team to present the challan immediately, Minister Chaudhary said that an investigation team has been formed so that there is no unnecessary delay in presenting the challan immediately in the court.
A special request is being made to the judiciary to get the case heard through a fast track court so that the victim's family can get immediate justice. This is the reason that the victim could get immediate medical help on time and the accused were identified and an FIR was lodged immediately, due to which the accused did not get a chance to escape and they were arrested. Assuring the people of Raigarh, the OP said that the safety of women is the first priority of the government, the accused will not be spared.
