Mathura, 20 July (HS). On receiving the information that the body of a mandi commission agent missing since Thursday night was found in Shivtal Kund, the family and top officials reached the spot last night. The body was taken out of the Kund and sent for post-mortem.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday night around 10 o'clock, Yogendra Garg, son of Niranjan Prasad Garg, a commission agent of Mandi Samiti, resident of Shankar Vihar Bank Colony under Mahanagar Kotwali, left home saying that he was going to his friend Kalua living in Guru Nanak Nagar for some work. When he did not return home till late night, the worried family members sought refuge from the police. Where they lodged a report with the police about his sudden disappearance. The family members said that they suspected Kalua and Deepak. Since the location of the missing commission agent's scooter and mobile phone was found near Shivtal Kund, the police sent divers into the Kund. Then his body was seen floating up.
He was immediately taken out and sent for postmortem. City Superintendent of Police Dr. Arvind Kumar has said about this incident that nothing can be said right now. Only after the postmortem report comes, it will be known whether it is murder or suicide. Police is investigating from every angle. In this context, business leader Rajkumar Agarwal of Mant said that he has full faith in the police. The investigation will bring out the truth. Whereas the family has accused both his friends of murdering him and throwing the body in the pond.
